WHY THE ALARM? 〰️

Drugs are everywhere: 70% of high school students use them occasionally or regularly. France is the European champion for cannabis consumption.
Find out why this is an alarming fact.

Who we are ?

  • We are an association of mothers who are convinced that real prevention is the key to curbing the scourge of drugs.
Our aim is to help our children unequivocally reject any substance likely to harm their physical or mental health. Our actions are motivated only by the love we have for our children and those of others.
If we can tell the truth about psychotropic drugs, it's because we have no political or financial interests, and we don't make a living from caring for or monitoring addicts. It's because we want our children to be free and happy that we wanted to understand what drugs are.
Like most parents, we thought we were well informed about the products that are constantly available to our teenagers and young adults. Some of us, faced with the problem, realized that we were mostly misinformed.

Who knows, for example, that cannabis remains stored in the body's fat for at least 28 days?

Did you know that mixing alcohol with cannabis can cause an ethylic coma?

  • A good knowledge of drugs is the only way to be able to answer our children's pertinent questions effectively. Today, we have developed effective prevention tools.

We parents are our children's best specialists, and we must teach them to refuse drugs.
Our action is complementary to that of a responsible government, which has a duty to put in place the necessary conditions to protect young people, as our country has committed to do by signing the International Convention on the Rights of the Child.

MAKE MOTHERS MATTER INTERNATIONAL

MMM refers to a declaration of principle: the Mother's Charter, a founding text.

Mothers are the world's largest, most homogeneous and most important social group, because beyond their culture, religion, economic and social situation, they are united by their concern to ensure the education and well-being of their children.

  • « 40-50% of repeat years in 4th and 3rd grade are due to cannabis use in the previous year. And we shouldn't forget that cannabis and alcohol take their toll.»

Ambroise Pic, dans son livre " Le cannabis démasqué "

  • « Among the perils threatening today's youth and society as a whole, drugs take pride of place as a danger that is all the more insidious for being less visible... It is spreading like an oil stain, gradually extending its tentacles from the metropolises to the smallest centers, from the richest and most industrialized countries to the Third World. »

    Jean Paul II

  • « Rats given cannabis start to drink alcohol, whereas without cannabis, they would not. »

    Dr Chamayou

  • «No to drugs of any kind ! »

    Pope François

  • « I believe that parents have the ability to educate their children. [...] Anyone is capable, most of the time, of taking responsibility for their child. [...] Parents use psychologists for years and pay them a lot of money, when they usually have the potential to help their child. I often say to parents: "You've got everything in your hands, just look for it. But simply take time to look at your child." »

Guy Gilbert, in his book “Cris de jeunes”

  • «Adolescence is in itself a "season in hell". It's an age of self-doubt, self-deprecation and anxiety, but also of authenticity and absoluteness. What's normal is exaggerated behavior, words and feelings, explosions of joy and sadness. Adolescents are ultra-sensitive to the eyes and words of others, especially their friends.»

    Dr Sananes

  • « If a government had an interest in corrupting the governed, it would have only to encourage the use of hashish [...]. Hashish belongs to the class of solitary joys; it is made for miserable idlers [...]. You are incapable of hard work and energetic action [...]. You have thrown your personality to the four winds of heaven, and now you have trouble gathering and concentrating it [...]. Hashish is a weapon for suicide. »

Baudelaire wrote in " Du vin et du haschich "
