WHY THE ALARM? 〰️
Drugs are everywhere: 70% of high school students use them occasionally or regularly. France is the European champion for cannabis consumption.
Find out why this is an alarming fact.
Who we are ?
-
We are an association of mothers who are convinced that real prevention is the key to curbing the scourge of drugs.
Our aim is to help our children unequivocally reject any substance likely to harm their physical or mental health. Our actions are motivated only by the love we have for our children and those of others.
If we can tell the truth about psychotropic drugs, it's because we have no political or financial interests, and we don't make a living from caring for or monitoring addicts. It's because we want our children to be free and happy that we wanted to understand what drugs are.
Like most parents, we thought we were well informed about the products that are constantly available to our teenagers and young adults. Some of us, faced with the problem, realized that we were mostly misinformed.
Who knows, for example, that cannabis remains stored in the body's fat for at least 28 days?
Did you know that mixing alcohol with cannabis can cause an ethylic coma?

A good knowledge of drugs is the only way to be able to answer our children's pertinent questions effectively. Today, we have developed effective prevention tools.
We parents are our children's best specialists, and we must teach them to refuse drugs.
Our action is complementary to that of a responsible government, which has a duty to put in place the necessary conditions to protect young people, as our country has committed to do by signing the International Convention on the Rights of the Child.

MAKE MOTHERS MATTER INTERNATIONAL
MMM refers to a declaration of principle: the Mother's Charter, a founding text.
Mothers are the world's largest, most homogeneous and most important social group, because beyond their culture, religion, economic and social situation, they are united by their concern to ensure the education and well-being of their children.
