Read C'est quoi la drogue? by Marie-Christine d'Welles, published by Jean-Cyrille Godefroy (September 2013).

This book provides objective and scientific information, data, arguments and essential information on drugs. It provides all, abstainers and consumers, with reliable and scientific knowledge.

This book is currently the best material for learning about drugs.

What do you want to do with your life? Which side do you want to be on?

Every person must decide for himself.

Questions / answers listed below are intended to make you aware of the scourge of drugs. They must be supplemented by a more detailed study of the site (pages on psychotropic drugs, testimonials, etc).

Do you know the reasons why we should not smoke tobacco?

It is harmful, toxic, hazardous to health. We all know that smoking increases the risk of cancers, cardiovascular diseases ...

Tobacco is not a psychotropic drug!

Tobacco is highly addictive (difficult to stop), but there is no habituation (need to increase doses and then change the product to achieve the same effects). The smoker will move from one cigarette a day to a pack, or maybe two ... but will remain on tobacco. It is a long way from the habituation associated with psychotropic drugs.

It is not psychoactive, it does not affect the mind, it does not change behaviour: we can get in a car with a tobacco smoker, talk with him without any problem. This explains why a smoker can succeed with studies that are long and difficult, tobacco will not be the cause of repeating or needing school guidance.

It is not by taking tobacco that you become a drug addict!

Is having a small joint from time to time dangerous?

Yes, cannabis is a gateway to drugs, it leads to drug addiction. It causes not only dependence but also habituation, which is to say that the number of joints or amount of active ingredient must be increased to achieve the same effect. This is an escalation and it explains why consumers become poly-consumers (they will change their drug little by little, all the while keeping cannabis as a standby drug).

Did you know that 70% of high school students (from every social environment, public/private school, countryside, town, city ...) use cannabis in an occasional or regular manner?

Do you know that the active ingredient content of cannabis (THC) consumed by young people varies from 10 to 35%, while 15 years ago the cannabis that parents have known had 0.6 to 6% active ingredient?

What is the minimum number of days that THC is stored in the body?

THC is stored in all the body fat for a minimum of 28 days.

Do you know that in the event of stress or fear cannabis is re-activated?

This is releasing. It is responsible for traffic accidents, violence.

Do you know that psychotropic drugs whether they are legal or illegal lead to malaise, depression, and suicide?

Can you name three illegal drugs?

Cannabis, LSD, ecstasy, cocaine...

Can you name three legal drugs?

Antidepressants (Prozac, Zyban, Elavil, Zoloft, Effexor ...)

Sleeping pills (Stilnox, Imovane, Noctran, Rohypnol, Halcion, Mogadon ...)

Tranquilizers (Atarax, Atrium, Valium, Xanax, Lexomil)

Neuroleptics (Haldol, Thorazine, Dogmatil, Nozinan ...)

Do you know a common side effect of all drugs?

Malaise, depression, suicide.

Today everyone is talking about heavy drinking amongst young people. Did you know that this is only partially true? Did you know that it often masks the consumption of associated drugs?

Young people actually consume strong liquor and in significant quantities, but that masks a consumption of alcohol and associated drugs which no one speaks about. This explains the current number of ethyl induced comas. A user of alcohol and drugs will quickly become an addict.

Alcohol is used as a potentializer.

The addition of some drugs causes a mutual increase in their effects. Alcohol is known to potentialize the effect of all other drugs.
